Position
Shipping & Receiving Clerk
The Job:
Accurately write up orders in the computer system.
Receive and put away items from incoming shipments.
Prepare items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Identify and confirm shipment details against invoices, orders, and other records.
Unpack and inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and record any shortages.
Communicate with shippers and customers to resolve issues related to damages and shortages.
Provide excellent customer service, including answering phones and assisting customers both in-person and via phone.
Conduct customer sales and service transactions efficiently and professionally.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment, adhering to prescribed safety regulations.
The Person:
Availability to work Monday through Friday full-time with additional hours as needed.
Bilingual proficiency preferred.
Prior experience in shipping & receiving operations in a warehousing or retail environment.
High degree of integrity and accountability.
Dependability, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Adaptability in using various technological systems and familiarity with data entry and record‑keeping systems.
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
Excellent skills in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook.
