Location This position is considered office-first. The successful candidate lives in Omaha, NE. Relocation is not available for this role. Description The Training Specialist is a pivotal role responsible for developing, creating, and delivering high-quality training content to support employees at all levels. This role focuses on developing training programs and leading in-person classroom experiences to enhance knowledge, skills, and performance across the organization. The Training Specialist works closely with cross-functional teams to identify training needs, design engaging content, and facilitate impactful training sessions that align with the organization’s goals and ensure consistent learning experiences across departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain training content, including materials, presentations, guides, and eLearning modules, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals and standards. Lead and facilitate in-person classroom training sessions, ensuring participants are engaged and can apply learned skills in their roles. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training materials are accurate, relevant, and up-to-date. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics; make improvements as needed. Support the onboarding process for new franchisees and their teams by creating and delivering training for new hires to ensure they understand company culture, systems, and expectations. Develop training resources to support a variety of learning styles, ensuring content is accessible and engaging for all employees. Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure training content is innovative and reflects the latest knowledge and methodologies. Facilitate virtual and in-person workshops, webinars, and other learning experiences to foster continuous development. Work closely with management to identify ongoing training needs and create customized programs to address performance gaps. Partner with Human Resources and other departments to ensure alignment of training initiatives with organizational goals and compliance requirements. Assist in maintaining training documentation and tracking systems. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Proven experience in developing and delivering training content for both in-person and virtual formats. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners. Experience using learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools. Ability to analyze training effectiveness and adapt content based on feedback and learning outcomes. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. 3 years of experience in a training role, preferably in a corporate or organizational setting. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, as required.
