The Sous Chef supports the Corporate Chef at our Scottsdale, AZ Showroom by assisting with food preparation, cooking demonstrations, menu development, ordering, and overall kitchen operations. This role ensures a smooth, efficient, and well-organized kitchen environment while delivering an exceptional culinary experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present food for events and demonstrations
Assist with menu planning and development
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, including post-event cleanup
Supervise kitchen operations in the Chef’s absence
Support consumer cooking demonstrations and culinary events
Manage ingredient ordering and inventory control
Uphold food safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications:
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Strong cooking and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Flexible schedule to accommodate evening and weekend events
Qualifications Experience Preferred Culinary degree or equivalent work experience
2-4 years of professional culinary work experience
Good presentation/cooking and communication skills
