New Home Consultant – Sacramento, CA Lennar is one of the nation's leading homebuilders, dedicated to creating an extraordinary experience for homeowners, communities, and associates. This role manages the new home purchase process from initial contact to closing, ensuring a "tickled, delighted and happy" customer.

Responsibilities

Engage and build relationships with visitors to understand their home‑buying needs.

Self‑generate sales leads through community engagement, realtor partnerships, and proactive prospecting.

Develop comprehensive knowledge of the competitive market, including product features, community amenities, and demographics.

Provide consistent follow‑through with customers from initial contact through post‑closing and maintain accurate communication records.

Participate in sales meetings, neighborhood promotions, and marketing programs.

Ensure the maintenance of Welcome Home Center models and inventory homes.

Complete required training and participate in community events and phone banks.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree and real estate license preferred.

1‑2 years of experience in homebuilding or real‑estate sales preferred.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Strong communication, organizational, and customer‑service skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use sales‑tracking tools.

Self‑motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Physical & Site Requirements Regular in‑person attendance at company communities, job sites, and offices during regular work hours is essential. The position involves office/phone work and walking in all weather conditions and uneven surfaces to and within homesites. Must have a valid state driver’s license and be able to travel to customer venues. Finger dexterity is required to use computer keyboard and telephone equipment. Ability to lift and carry supplies up to 25 lbs.

Compensation & Benefits Base hourly rate: $17.31 – $17.00 (subject to adjustment based on business factors). Eligible for bonuses, commissions, and company benefits in accordance with policy.
