We’re looking for a reliable and skilled
Maintenance Assistant
to join our team at Vibrant Life Senior Living. This role is essential in maintaining the safety, comfort, and appearance of our campus — including buildings, systems, and grounds — to ensure the well‑being and satisfaction of our residents and staff.

What You’ll Do
Perform repairs and maintenance across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems.
Support preventative maintenance programs and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Assist with painting, landscaping, patio repairs, window washing, and general refurbishing.
Respond promptly to work orders and maintenance requests from residents and staff.
Maintain documentation and records of maintenance activities.
Monitor lighting, ventilation, and pest control systems to ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
Help with grounds keeping, including snow removal, leaf cleanup, and outdoor repairs.
Participate in safety and emergency preparedness training (OSHA, life safety, PPE, etc.).
Maintain honesty, integrity, and respect for resident property at all times.
Cooperate with other departments to meet resident needs and preferences.
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director.
What We’re Looking For
Basic mechanical, electrical, and technical repair skills.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
Strong problem‑solving, organization, and communication skills.
Prior maintenance experience, preferably in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality settings.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.
Dependable, safety‑minded, and team‑oriented.
Physical Requirements
Frequent bending, lifting (up to 50–100 lbs), walking, and use of hands/fingers in repetitive motion.
Ability to move freely throughout the building and grounds to perform maintenance tasks.
