Full-Time Nanny in Brooklyn Heights
Location:
Brooklyn Heights, NY
General Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm
Child’s age at start:
5 months old
Ideal start date:
January 2026
Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Planning and facilitating age-appropriate, enriching, and engaging activities
Diaper changes and supporting overall healthy hygiene
Bottle feedings, keeping the bottles and other equipment clean and sterilized
Maintaining the child’s sleeping and eating schedules
Childs Laundry
Introducing solids and preparing meals for the child, and helping the child reach other milestones
Keeping the child’s room and the shared spaces in the home clean and tidy
Taking the child on walks and to parks
Reading to the child
Maintain a daily communication log via a shared app or group chat with the parents
Ideal Candidate:
Genuinely passionate about working with children and supporting their cognitive, physical, and emotional development
Attentive and prioritizes the child’s safety and well-being
Kind, warm, and nurturing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Active, engaging, and grounded in child-development best practices
Neat, clean, and organized
Patient, calm, and trustworthy
Collaborative and easy to work with
Interested in a long-term role and growing with the family
While not required, the family values additional language skills and relevant childcare or infant care training and certifications
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of recent nanny experience
Extensive experience with infants
Legally authorized to work in the U.S
Professional references from prior families
Fully vaccinated
CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to get it renewed)
Compensation:
$35 – $40/hour gross, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
