Base pay range $97,500.00/yr – $127,000.00/yr
A high‑energy inside sales role built for people who want a real career path. A purpose‑driven residential mortgage lender is hiring Junior Loan Officers to join their Cape Girardeau, MO team. You’ll handle company‑provided inbound leads, work most of your day on the phone and in text campaigns, qualify borrowers using a proven script, and hand off strong opportunities to licensed Loan Officers. You’ll be trained, coached, and sponsored to obtain your NMLS license, with a clear runway to becoming a full Loan Officer in 3–6 months.
Junior Loan Officer Responsibilities
Work inbound internet and digital leads supplied by the company
Spend 5–6 hours per day on the phone using a dialer system
Qualify borrowers using structured scripts and discovery questions
Manage active text conversations with prospective borrowers
Identify strong opportunities and hand off qualified leads to Loan Officers
Learn mortgage products, including purchase, refinance, and cash‑out loans
Participate in licensing preparation with corporate training support
Consistently hit activity and conversion metrics tied to promotion readiness
Junior Loan Officer Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of real‑world work experience
Currently working in a commission‑based sales role
Strong work ethic with the ability to handle rejection and stay consistent
Coachable mindset and willingness to follow a proven sales process
High emotional intelligence and professional communication style
Ability and willingness to obtain NMLS licensing
Comfortable working onsite full‑time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
Phone‑based sales experience strongly preferred
