Powder Coat Painter
As a Powder Coat Painter, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high-quality standards by painting all items processed through the powder coat booth. This position requires a commitment to excellence and adherence to core values such as innovation, integrity, and teamwork. Responsibilities: Stand and paint all parts for extended periods throughout the shift. Recognize and apply the correct paint color extensions. Possess a good working knowledge of powder coat application. Operate all functions of the Nordson paint booth efficiently. Communicate ideas and issues promptly. Maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Change colors in one minute and 20 seconds. Paint manually at a speed of 10 feet per minute. Sustain 5S standards within the department. Essential Skills: Experience in powder coat painting. Basic computer knowledge. Ability to read prints. Flexible work schedule with the ability to work 10 hours a day for a 4-6 month period. Commitment to delivering high-quality products. Reliable and dependable work schedule. Additional Skills & Qualifications: High School Degree or GED preferred. Experience in paint prep, masking, taping, metal sanding, and using hand tools. Preferred prior paint prep experience. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
