Responsibilities:
Supervise Fiberglass Shop employees
Ensure quality and productivity in the Fiberglass Shop
Coordinate schedules with the Shop Supervisor
Maintain cleanliness of the shop
Notify Shop Supervisor to order supplies
Notify Shop Supervisor regarding shop tools and maintenance needs
Enforce company safety policies
Maintain high quality and productivity
Assist Shop Supervisor with training of shop employees
Assist other areas as needed according to workload
Qualifications:
High school education or equivalent
Minimum of five (5) years of duct fabrication experience
In-depth knowledge of duct fabrication and installation systems
Knowledge of HVAC systems and related supporting utilities
Ability to work independently without supervision
Ability to effectively manage and motivate employees
Physical Demands:
Physical activities include standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders
Daily walking and lifting of 20 pounds or more required
Use of upper extremities for forward and overhead reaching, pushing, pulling, and material handling
Use of torso and lower extremities for kneeling, crawling, stooping, twisting, and squatting
