Accounting Specialist (Contract)
We're partnering with a leading financial services organization headquartered in Carmel to add an accounting specialist to their team for a short-term contract assignment. March 31 Work Environment: Fully in-office Schedule: 8:004:30 or 8:305:00 What You'll Do: Maintain accurate financial records by following established policies and procedures Initiate cash transactions to support payment activity Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting standards Build spreadsheets and financial reports by gathering and analyzing accounting data Review existing accounting processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and service delivery Requirements: High school diploma or GED required Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting preferred 1+ years of related experience required Strong Microsoft Excel skills High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency Ability to work quickly and effectively under tight deadlines Comfort in a structured, process-driven environment Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
