HVAC Apprentice

Install commercial HVAC equipment/systems, ensuring this is done up to local code standards Identify current/potential problems during installation that may affect performance Gather equipment/part information and perform associated start-up Complete necessary paperwork (daily reports, AWAs, RFIs, etc.) Maintain accurate and complete list of job materials used Keep area neat, organized and free of debris to ensure safe work environment Qualifications
2+ years experience preferred but not required - General understanding of the installation of refrigeration and gas pipe - General knowledge in HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems - General understanding of refrigerant, gas/electric furnaces, heat pumps, troubleshooting and installation of all residential and light commercial systems - Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings - General knowledge in all HVAC low voltage systems - Ability to test and balance systems - Ability to read blue prints and other diagrams preferred but not required McCarthy is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
