Collision Repair Technician
California Collision Center, an independently owned and operated Auto Body Shop with locations in Oceanside, Escondido and San Diego is seeking a skilled and motivated Collision Repair Technician to join our team at our San Diego operation. We are a family-owned business offering state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technology to deliver the highest quality collision repair services. If you have a strong background in auto body repair, a passion for quality work, and experience working in a team environment, we want to hear from you! This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities: Perform high-quality collision repair and restoration work on various makes and models of vehicles. Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs. Repair or replace damaged vehicle parts, including body panels, frame, and mechanical components. Use industry-standard equipment and techniques to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. Follow detailed repair procedures and manufacturer specifications to ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards. Work closely with other technicians and shop staff to coordinate repair tasks and ensure a smooth workflow. Maintain accurate and detailed repair documentation, including labor hours and parts used. Stay current with automotive repair trends, new technologies, and best practices. Ensure compliance with safety standards, shop cleanliness, and overall operational efficiency. Assist with training and mentoring junior technicians when needed. Communicate with shop management to report on job progress, vehicle status, and any issues that arise.
