Electrical Assembly Technician
Pay Range: $20 to $26 per hour Employment Type: Full Time - Day Shift / Temp to Hire Position Overview The Electrical Laborer Technician is responsible for supporting electrical assembly activities related to manufactured equipment. This role assists with equipment setup for demonstration and development testing, operates machinery during various test procedures, and performs routine maintenance on electrical systems and supporting facilities. The position requires hands on electrical experience, strong technical understanding, and the ability to follow industry standards and technical documentation. Primary Responsibilities Perform electrical assembly and wiring of manufactured equipment in accordance with specifications and drawings Support demonstration testing and development testing by assisting with equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting Operate electrical and mechanical equipment during functional and performance testing Maintain and service primary electrical systems and auxiliary electrical components Assist with upkeep of electrical infrastructure within the facility Utilize manufacturer specific electrical software programs as required for assembly, testing, and diagnostics Follow established electrical codes and standards including NEC, CE, and IEC as applicable Identify and report electrical issues, defects, or safety concerns during assembly or testing Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to support project requirements Minimum Qualifications Prior work experience in Electrical Technology or a related electrical field 3 to 5 years of hands on experience performing electrical assembly, maintenance, or testing functions Ability to meet required performance standards with minimal supervision Preferred Knowledge and Skills Ability to read, understand, and interpret a wide range of electrical blueprints and schematics Experience reviewing hydraulic blueprints and assisting others with interpretation when needed Knowledge of hand tools, small power tools, and precision measuring instruments Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures Ability to follow written instructions and technical documentation accurately
