NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans. Our 6-bed NeuroRestorative facilities located in San Fernando Valley, CA, are fully licensed JCAHO accredited Congregate Living Healthcare (CLHF) facilities that specialize in brain, spinal cord and other life-altering injuries and medically-complex illnesses. We offer in-patient treatment in residential home-like settings to individuals of all ages, which includes neurorehabilitation, respite, post-acute, and sub-acute care. As a Housekeeper/Cook, you will help in our commitment to serve others by coordinating menus, preparing food for the individuals receiving our services and clean and maintain all common areas. Full-time position available at Woodland Hills facility 10-hour shifts: 6:30 am to 5:30 pm $17.00-$19.00/hour (based on experience) 2 hours of overtime each shift (overtime pay = time and a half) Valid driver's license in good standing Current food handler's certification required Full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k w/company match, life insurance, and more!) for fulltime positions On-demand pay via Dayforce Wallet Week 1 days include Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday Week 2 days include Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday Repeat Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain all common areas including rooms, hallways, restrooms, windows, woodwork, light fixtures, and other work areas so that health standards are met and the home is neat and debris-free. Maintain and clean floor surfaces, furniture, draperies, use shampooers, and empty trash receptacles. Follow universal precautions and procedures regarding cleaners, hazardous materials, and infection control. Disinfect equipment and supplies. Launder, sort clothing, iron, and fold items. Purchase groceries, household supplies, and take laundry to the cleaners. Review work orders to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared Prepare, season, and cook food Carve portions of meat, fish, or fowl for individual servings Inspect food storage and directs sanitary maintenance of kitchen and storage facilities Oversee and coordinate activities of kitchen workers preparing and cooking foods Plan and review menus Determine food quantities, labor, and overhead costs Qualifications:

Kitchen/restaurant and/or cook experience required Janitorial/cleaning and/or housekeeping experience required Valid driver's license in good standing A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach An acute attention to detail Why Join Us?
