Admissions Student Ambassador – NKU Graduate Education
Our Admissions Welcome Center Student Ambassadors serve as thought partners in creating a compelling NKU visit experience for prospective students and families.
Responsibilities
Create a welcoming environment for all visitors.
Share personal NKU experience by facilitating and leading campus visit experiences (e.g., telling your NKU story when in contact with prospective families).
Execute assigned Admissions follow‑up strategies for all NKU visitors (daily visits, on‑campus events, etc.).
Provide customer service for welcome center visitors.
Administer front‑desk responsibilities.
Facilitate campus tour experience for prospective families (tour training/facilitating tours required for position).
Carry out daily operational tasks (event preparation, visitor follow‑up, outreach emails, etc.).
Participate in calling campaigns as assigned by Admissions leadership.
Answer inbound customer service calls.
Qualifications
Some college education.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to facilitate campus tours and share personal campus stories.
Strong organizational skills for event preparation and follow‑up.
Experience in front‑desk or reception duties preferred.
Willingness to participate in regular phone outreach and calling campaigns.
Ability to perform required physical tasks (standing, walking).
Pre‑employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.
Compensation Pay rate: $12–$14 per hour. Working schedule: Various / Flexible. Location: Federal Building/Office Location WC – Welcome Center.
