Job Description Our Admissions Welcome Center Student Ambassadors will serve as thought partners in creating a compelling NKU visit experience for prospective students and families.
Students in these roles will:
Create a welcoming environment for all visitors
Share their personal NKU experience through facilitating and leading the campus visit experience (i.e., telling your NKU story when in contact with prospective families)
Execute assigned Admissions follow‑up strategies for all NKU visitors (daily visits, on‑campus events, etc.)
Primary Responsibilities Duties include:
Provide customer service for welcome center visitors
Administer front desk responsibilities
Facilitate campus tour experience for prospective families (tour training/facilitating tours required for position)
Operational tasks related to visits (event preparation, visitor follow‑up, emails, outreach etc.)
Qualifications Tour Guide
Provide Customer Service for Welcome Center Visitors
Administers Front Desk responsibilities
Facilitate Campus Tour Experience for Prospective Families
Carry out daily operational tasks (e.g., event prep, visitor follow‑up outreach, etc.)
Provide Customer Service for Welcome Center and Admissions Office Visitors
Carry out calling campaigns as assigned by Admissions Leadership
Answer inbound customer service calls
Any candidate who is offered this position will be required to go through a pre‑employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.
