About Our Property The Hanover Inn has a rich legacy of hospitality dating back to 1780. Notable guests include Presidents Monroe, Wilson, F.D.R., Eisenhower, Nixon, Reagan and others.
Responsibilities
Receive goods from vendors, verifying the correct products as they arrive.
Unpack products and store them in the proper location.
Track invoices on incoming shipments; gather invoices from all Food and Beverage outlets and keep them organized.
Work with chemicals and toxic materials when checking supplies into the storeroom area.
Keep all items on shelves in the proper place.
Support the Distribution Center, answer phones, and assist departmental managers with queries.
Report all safety hazards and suspicious persons or activities to security.
Know all safety and emergency procedures and your role in assisting during these times.
Attend all monthly and resort-required meetings.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior hospitality/purchasing experience preferred.
At least one year of customer service experience preferred.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Works well under pressure and is an excellent communicator.
Enjoys working in a team environment.
Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Comfortable interacting with guests and associates.
Strong problem‑solving skills and tactful manner.
Able to frequently lift & carry up to 50–75 lbs.; occasionally up to 100 lbs.
Compensation
$24 - $25 per hour.
