Works alongside the Culinary Director of Auro, managing daily kitchen activities, overseeing staff, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking. Provides meal quality and consistency by following designated recipes and delivering high‑quality, cost‑effective dishes promptly. What You Will Do
Manage all day‑to‑day operations of the kitchen. Lead and develop kitchen team, hiring, training, coaching, and conducting performance reviews. Assist in all kitchen operations, including banquets, restaurants, and pool. Collaborate with the Culinary Director to create and refine menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients, culinary trends, and guest preferences. Assist in planning and developing recipes, ensuring consistency across all food items. Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, purchasing, budgeting, and inventory control. Order department supplies via Birchstreet. Manage labor, scheduling, and payroll using OnTrack, Workday, ADP. Organize and lead restaurant events, buyouts, outside catering, holiday activations. Communicate with restaurant managers to meet guest expectations. Work closely with other departments and clients to discuss upcoming events. Maintain kitchen sanitation standards and cleanliness. Monitor and control food costs, minimizing waste and maintaining low par. Maintain quality and portion consistency, monitor food shipments, and foster food preparation awareness. Assume full responsibility in the absence of the Culinary Director. Comply with Four Seasons Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct. Demonstrate respect, kindness, and cooperation in all interactions, following the Golden Rule. What We Offer
