We are seeking a
detail-oriented and proactive Senior Billing Analyst
to join our Finance team. This critical role manages end-to-end billing processes, directly impacting the company's financial health and operational efficiency.

Job Scope
Prepare, review, and process customer invoices with high accuracy.
Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with Operations as needed.
Support and guide Billing Analysts when required.
Serve as the primary backup to the Billing Manager during absences.
Assist with process improvements, OCR implementation, and reporting enhancements.
Participate in testing and rollout of billing automation tools.
Manage the entire accounts receivable ledger, focusing on timely payments and minimizing outstanding balances (AR Aging).
Issue and meticulously review invoices, ensuring alignment with client contracts and internal policies.
Investigate, document, and efficiently resolve complex billing discrepancies and payment disputes.
Prepare accurate monthly reports, including AR Aging schedules and collection status, providing insights to leadership.
Maintain thorough records of all collection activity, supporting internal and external finance audits.
Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline existing billing processes for greater organizational efficiency.
Partner effectively with internal departments (Operations, Sales, Accounting) to ensure documentation and billing accuracy.
What We're Looking For
Experience:
3-5+ years of billing, accounting, administrative, or analytical experience (freight forwarding/logistics background is a plus but not required).
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems and new software tools is a bonus.
Core Skills:
Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and ability to adapt to change with a sense of urgency.
Communication:
Excellent professional communication and organizational skills.
