About the Team The Audit & Assurance team at Crowe provides traditional attestation services as well as accounting and consulting on applying accounting principles. Audit & Assurance professionals demonstrate deep specialization through an understanding of the market and business challenges their clients face and a dedication to audit quality. Though Crowe has various business units, Audit & Assurance is one of the largest practices.
Responsibilities
Run client engagements from start to finish, including all aspects of financial statement preparation, internal staffing, project scheduling and budgeting, planning of the engagement, and related administrative functions.
Supervise, train, and mentor staff and interns on audit process and assess performance of staff for engagement reviews.
Maintain an outstanding relationship with clients to increase customer happiness and work with client management and staff at all levels to perform audit services.
Work with your audit team to identify and resolve client issues discovered during the audit process; promote partnership and collaboration to grow expertise.
Research and analyze financial statements and audit issues using electronic databases, and employ audit software to review and compile financial information.
Engage with key client management to collect information, resolve audit‑related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.
Qualifications
2+ years of recent and relevant public accounting external audit experience.
Experience in external audit with clients in Food & Commodities, Metals, Supply Chain, Cannabis, Healthcare, Technology Media Telecommunications, Consumer Markets, Life Sciences, Real Estate & Construction, and Manufacturing.
Strong organization, social, technical, and accounting and auditing skills to work efficiently with clients and staff while building positive relationships.
Experience with engagement management, reviews, and staff supervision.
Ability to multitask, managing planning, execution, and wrap‑up of multiple engagements concurrently.
Perform research on technical matters prior to submitting for manager review.
Meeting the education requirement for CPA certification in your home office state; a CPA license in that state is even better.
Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.

Compensation The wage range for this role ranges from $63,500.00 to $142,000.00 per year, with factors such as skill sets, experience, licensure, and business needs considered. Geographic differential is not adjusted in the disclosed estimate.
