The Audit & Assurance team at Crowe provides traditional attestation services, as well as accounting and consulting on applying accounting principles. Auditors demonstrate deep specialization through an understanding of the market and business challenges their clients face and a dedication to audit quality. Running client engagements from start to finish, including all aspects of financial statement preparation, internal staffing of engagements, project scheduling and budgeting, engagement planning, and related administrative functions. Supervising, training, and mentoring staff and interns on audit process and assessing staff performance for engagement reviews. Maintaining outstanding relationships with clients to increase customer happiness and working with client management and staff at all levels to perform audit services. Identifying and resolving client issues discovered during the audit process in collaboration with your audit team. Encouraging creativity to grow your expertise. Researching and analyzing financial statements and audit issues using electronic databases and audit software to review and compile financial information. Engaging with key client management to collect information, resolve audit‑related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements. Qualifications
2+ years of recent and relevant public accounting external audit experience. Experience in external audit working with clients in Food & Commodities, Metals, Supply Chain, Cannabis, Healthcare, Technology Media Telecommunications, Consumer Markets, Life Sciences, Real Estate & Construction, and Manufacturing. Strong organization, social, technical, accounting, and auditing skills to work efficiently with clients and staff and build positive relationships. Experience with engagement management, reviews, and staff supervision. Ability to multi‑task, balancing planning, execution, and wrap‑up of multiple engagements concurrently. Strong research skills on technical matters prior to manager review. Meeting the education requirement for CPA certification in your aligned home office state; holding a CPA license in that state is an advantage. Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites. We expect the candidate to uphold Crowe’s values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship. The wage range for this role is $63,500.00 – $142,000.00 per year, reflecting skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs.
