Tree Climber / Climbing Arborist

Washington Tree Services offers year-round, full-time work with consistent hours and the opportunity to be home every evening. Our crews work approximately
38–40 hours per week
and are supported by a professional team focused on safety, efficiency, and quality results. As our company continues to grow, additional opportunities may become available for current team members.
Primary Responsibilities
Safely and successfully complete all
tree climbing, pruning, and removal
operations
Apply proper
tree care principles, pruning standards, species identification , and
disease recognition
Utilize modern
climbing and rigging techniques , including both
SRT
and
DRT
methods
Perform
close‑quarter removals
safely and efficiently
Demonstrate knowledge of
aerial rescue, PPE, hazard awareness, emergency procedures , and
Dig Alert protocols
Maintain strong
physical endurance
and performance throughout an 8‑hour workday
Provide excellent
customer service , ensuring every client interaction is handled with professionalism and care
Arrive on time, follow company dress code and attendance policies, and complete assigned tasks promptly
Work safely in all weather conditions and tolerate
noise from saws, chippers, and other machinery
(hearing protection required)
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $300 – $450 per day (DOE)
Pay Schedule:
Weekly (every Friday)

Requirements
Minimum
2+ years of professional tree climbing and pruning experience
Knowledge and experience with
SRT and DRT climbing techniques
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
