Description About the Role We’re seeking an experienced and motivated
Sous Chef
to join our culinary leadership team at our luxury resort. This key position supports the Executive Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency that align with our resort’s high standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations, menu planning, and recipe development
Supervise, train, and motivate culinary team members to ensure a positive, efficient, and professional work environment
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation across dining outlets
Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost control to achieve budgetary goals
Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Support scheduling, performance management, and development of kitchen staff
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and professionalism in all kitchen areas
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or sous chef role in a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining establishment
Strong culinary skills with a refined sense of taste, creativity, and attention to detail
Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and developing a diverse team
Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
Knowledge of current culinary trends, seasonal ingredients, and sustainable practices
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
