Must have 1–2 years of Hyperion (HFM) experience (minimum).
Hands‑on experience with company divestitures (splitting companies, manipulating data).
Combination of functional + technical knowledge required.
Must be able to lead, guide, and direct—not just execute tasks.
Strong understanding of data loading and business logic for divestiture processes.
Leadership title not required, but should guide the team and know what needs to be done.
Project Background Client is establishing a joint venture requiring enhancements to their Oracle EPM/Hyperion Financial Management & Reporting system. This is an on‑premises project (not SaaS). Client will provide hardware, software, and infrastructure.
Goal Create processes for splitting legal entities and loading data with business logic.
Tasks / Skills Required HFM Expertise
Leverage expert knowledge to create/modify HFM rules and perform metadata changes.
Perform technical‑functional validation of applications and objects.
Support Production HFM prior to and during go‑live.
Provide insights based on past implementations.
Automate business rule logic where possible.
Update Webforms and Financial Reporting (FR) tool.
Application Services
Document updating metadata using the .app file process in HFM.
Expertise in HFM Rules file creation and logic updates.
Metadata management (.app / .xml) or alternate methods.
SmartView Excel add‑in (new features if applicable).
Deliver Train the Trainer sessions.
Testing Services
Assist with SIT (System Integration Testing).
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
Disaster Recovery Services
Review existing DR plan and provide revisions.
Assist with DR testing of the new HFM platform (up to 24 hours).
Environment architecture diagrams (all environments).
Installation and configuration documents (except sandbox).
Technical validation document for each Oracle‑built environment.
Training & Knowledge Transfer General sessions covering enhancements to:
