The

Business Development Specialist (BDS)

engages Health Care Professionals (HCPs) via telephone to promote assigned client products, maximize the product’s selling potential and meet program and client objectives.

The BDS builds and maintains relationships with HCPs, educates them about product features, benefits, safety, approved indications and the loyalty program platform, and ensures appropriate use.

The BDS utilizes approved tools for product promotion, maintains competence in product, program and customer activity knowledge, collaborates with client field‑based teams and management, and may perform some on‑site practice visits for in‑services. Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Effectively communicate with customers using selling, listening and negotiation skills, proper terminology and approved messaging, and enable use of approved promotional aids. Represent a target region’s outreach to office staff, injectors and patients to manage platform participation and maximize loyalty benefits. Manage daily call activity to influence customers and increase platform awareness. Maintain a targeted account list and provide value‑added benefits to grow product and platform awareness. Create and implement business plans to achieve business goals. Maintain call productivity and meet program metrics. Achieve quarterly client KPIs. Promote client products via telephone (outbound and/or inbound) by engaging assigned targets in in‑depth discussions to meet individual and company goals. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of client product(s), program and all platforms. Enter required data in Amplity/Client CRM systems, detailing target responses, call activity and follow‑through actions. Listen and respond to customer needs and questions within program timelines. Collaborate with client field sales account managers and sales managers to plan account coverage when required. Create and maintain a positive impression with client and client customers. Prepare reports for management as needed. Fully comply with laws, regulations, Amplity Policies, the Code of Conduct, privacy and data guidelines, and relevant state and federal laws. Participate in teleconference and live training sessions, and represent client at national and/or local conventions when applicable. Perform other projects as assigned. Key Working Relationships

Report to Amplity Performance Manager or Program Director. Work closely with other team members assigned to the program and members of Amplity home office support. Maintain a positive working relationship with customers, client contacts and all client business units. Required

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum 2+ years of relevant business or sales experience. Flexibility to cover multiple time zones. Ability and willingness to travel to office sites when needed. Successful completion of all required Amplity and client training. Excellent technical skills with Microsoft Office and other programs as needed. Preferred

B2B inside sales experience. Aesthetics experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Clear, articulate and grammatically sound speech; professional demeanor; excellent phone manner. Strong focus on delivering superior customer support and service. Ability to understand and explain complex information over the telephone. Strong rapport‑building and active listening skills. Excellent selling, closing, persuasion and presentation skills. High initiative, effort and commitment to complete projects and assignments. Understanding and communicating complex technical/medical terminology; maintain required technical expertise including product knowledge. Self‑motivated and disciplined. Good organizational and planning skills; strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Flexibility and capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to deal with people at all levels inside and outside the company. Demonstrated technical aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Completion of all Amplity and client training in its entirety. Participation in teleconferences, live meetings, and representation at national and local conventions. Drive and safe driving record; valid driver’s license; may require regional air travel. Key Performance Competencies

Representatives of a pharmaceutical company may be required to submit and maintain credentials such as training, vaccinations and other job‑related documentation to gain access to hospitals or healthcare providers.
