Carolina PRG is partnering with a growing organization to hire a Credit & Collections Analyst. This role will be responsible for evaluating credit risk, managing collections, and analyzing financial data to support strong cash flow and minimize financial risk across multiple operating entities. The Analyst will partner with internal teams and customers to resolve billing issues, monitor account activity, and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Assessment :

Review and evaluate credit applications, analyze financial statements, assess credit risk, and maintain credit files. Complete customer prequalification and necessary compliance forms (e.g., PCIP/OCIP) when required.

Account Management: Monitor customer accounts, contact customers for overdue payments, and negotiate payment plans as needed.

Collections Activity: Document collection efforts, resolve disputes, reconcile payments, and identify accounts requiring external collection or legal action.

Reporting & Analysis: Prepare reports on accounts receivable, analyze financial metrics, and recommend improvements to credit policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Excellent customer service and negotiation abilities

Highly organized with keen attention to detail

Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel

Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred, though relevant experience may substitute for formal education
