Salary Range:

$32,500

Certification/License Requirements:

Certification as a Peer Support Specialist through a state-approved training program (or ability to obtain prior to hire with agency support)

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Demonstrated one-year period of wellness, defined as:

Lack of symptoms or behavioral health hospitalization

Medication compliance

Active engagement in the recovery process

Completion of DBHDID-sanctioned 30-hour PSS training (Pathways will provide re-training if not already completed)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide Peer Support Services by:

Sharing lived experience to support and inspire recovery

Advocating for individuals in recovery

Sharing resources and teaching skill-building strategies

Facilitating peer sessions, mentoring, and setting recovery goals with assigned consumers

Helping build supportive relationships and community connections

Adhere to all Pathways policies, procedures, and state regulations, including 908 KAR 2:220

Perform other duties as assigned

Experience Requirements:

Experience working with the population for which the employee has lived experience (Substance Use Disorder and/or Mental Health)

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to adapt to change and maintain professional boundaries

Commitment to providing services consistent with Kentucky regulations and Pathways policies

This is a full time position.
