Government Fleet Sales Manager – Southeast Region
Join Stellantis as the Government Fleet Sales Manager for the Southeast Region, responsible for direct sales of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram vehicles to dealers and government entities.
Responsibilities The role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, maintaining and building volume with existing government customers, acquiring new accounts, prospecting, overcoming objections, providing customer support, managing order-to-delivery, cost control initiatives and providing accurate updates on Stellantis programs. The manager works closely with dealers, facilitates dealership commitments, demonstrates opportunities, supports inventory and trains the dealership’s government fleet account department. Responsibilities also include local events, forecasting, supporting government sales initiatives, auditing, reporting and building relationships with fleet representatives, upfitters and dealerships.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of automotive fleet sales or B2B experience
Knowledge of dealership commercial or government fleet sales processes
Commercial or Government fleet vehicle product knowledge
Self‑motivated with demonstrated ability to overcome market challenges and exceed goals under minimal supervision
Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
New business development experience
Excel at building positive working relationships
Strong negotiating skills
Must live in or be willing to relocate to Southeast Region (AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, GA, VA, NC, SC, FL)
Willing and able to travel up to 60% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
OEM field sales experience
Experience with commercial and government fleet equipment upfitters
