Position Title Digital Print Coordinator/Print Operator

Schedule Friday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Sunday & Monday 11:30 AM–10:00 PM

Position Type Full time – Regular

Job Summary Digital Print Coordinator’s role involves heavy client interaction—both verbal and written. Exceptional customer‑service skills are required. The coordinator oversees workflow activities to ensure customer satisfaction across all responsibilities: job intake, print operation, record‑keeping, shipping, and receiving. Applicants must multitask, comprehend complex instructions, and maintain quality logs and reporting documentation.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls

Monitor email traffic in all intake areas

Respond to emails and answer inquiries

Demonstrate strong customer‑service, verbal and written communication skills

Assess incoming print jobs and deadlines

Communicate effectively with clients regarding job requirements

Negotiate deadlines and other job parameters when necessary

Organize and prioritize jobs in queue to meet client expectations

Use Microsoft Office suite

Assign print jobs fairly between operators

Operate print, copy, and scanning equipment

Operate binding and other finishing equipment

Handle high‑volume printers (e.g., Xerox, Konica‑Minolta)

Produce high‑quality printed materials under tight deadlines

Perform finishing tasks: wire‑o, 3‑hole drill, lamination, stuffing envelopes, folding, cutting

Use electronic/manual cutter

Set up and operate printing software (e.g., Fiery)

Troubleshoot machine problems

Participate in cross‑training and perform other duties as needed

Maintain highest levels of customer care with a friendly, cooperative attitude

Delegate work to copy operators to keep the team productive and on schedule

Required Qualifications

Experience in mail/document preparation, scanning, or indexing

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Adaptability to a fast‑growing production environment

Strong organizational and administrative skills

Compliance with the employer’s attendance policy

Proficiency in email and Microsoft Windows environments

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb (per state law)

Capability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills

Experience in fast‑paced environments and critical deadlines

Professional handling of demanding clients

Strong copy background with familiarity with Fiery software and copy equipment

Experience running large copy jobs and binding (wire‑o, 3‑ring binder)
