Brand Ambassador – Arizona (Part‑Time)

Canopy USA, LLC ) is seeking a part‑time Brand Ambassador to support marketing and sales in the Arizona market. The role involves engaging dispensaries, budtenders, and customers to promote our brand portfolio, including flower, vape, concentrates and edibles.

Position Summary The Brand Ambassador will act as the frontline representative for Wana Brands, attending dispensaries, events, and brand promotions. The candidate will educate and build rapport with dispensary staff, coordinate marketing activities, manage visual merchandising, and report opportunities for growth.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Collaborate with Regional and State Marketing teams to schedule and maintain a regular presence in dispensaries.
Educate, engage, and inspire customers and dispensary staff through product knowledge and budtender training.
Plan and attend customer and account appreciation events.
Coordinate brand‑partner and foundation supported events.
Maintain and track display and swag stock levels; distribute materials to accounts and dispensary staff.
Collect competitive information and report insights.
Execute launch materials and visual merchandising at store level.
Ensure proper placement of POP materials to maximize shelf share.
Produce layout plans for stores and maintain inventory.
Promote Wana Brands to retail personnel and consumers professionally.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with in‑store personnel.
Report new opportunities, areas for improvement, and competitive activity.
Submit weekly recaps and photos of field activities.
Stay current with industry best practices.
Maximize customer interest and sales levels via appropriate product display.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no direct reports.
Qualifications Education & Experience:
Previous cannabis or retail industry experience preferred.
Customer‑service or event experience advantageous.
Degree or coursework in Marketing, Business, or related fields.
Prior brand ambassador or merchandising experience a plus.
Additional Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and rapport with partners.
Excellent interpersonal, customer‑service, and written communication skills.
High level of organization, follow‑through, and assertiveness.
Availability for evenings and weekends; ability to travel within the state.
Reliable vehicle for in‑state events.
Up‑to‑date knowledge of merchandising trends and best practices.
Commercial acumen and customer insight.
Benefits
Hourly compensation: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour.
Prorated paid time off, sick leave, and holiday pay.
Schedule
Hours outside normal business hours; primarily Tuesday‑Saturday.
Less than 30 hours per week; evening and weekend work required.
Local travel, with occasional out‑of‑area or overnight travel possible.
Position is not overtime‑exempt.
Work Environment & Physical Demands The role is predominantly field‑based, requiring travel to dispensaries, pop‑up events, and promotional activities. Must be able to drive and operate a company van, manage inventory, and handle materials up to 35 pounds.
