Job Summary We are seeking a Environmental Cleaning Specialist to work in our Compactor/Chute Cleaning to maintain a clean and safe environment in our building. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the compactor and maintaining the trash chute and compactor room.
Responsibilities
Operate the compactor and ensure all trash from the building is properly disposed of.
Maintain the trash chute and compactor room to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
Perform preventative maintenance of the compactor and report any issues or needed repairs to maintenance personnel.
Assist with other cleaning tasks as needed, including sweeping and mopping of common areas.
Observe all safety guidelines and protocol while operating compactor and chute.
Qualifications
Previous experience operating a trash compactor and working with garbage disposal equipment
Attention to detail and ability to keep work area clean and organized
Ability to regularly lift and stand for extended periods of time
Able to communicate effectively and follow instructions reliably.
