Responsibilities
Design mechanical components and systems using 2D/3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
Develop, apply, and maintain engineering calculations and accurate bills of materials to support mechanical design and production.
Independently lead large capital projects ($1M+) from concept through implementation.
Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to improve performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within mechanical systems and processes.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize existing plant equipment and systems.
Evaluate, select, and coordinate the purchase and installation of new mechanical systems.
Create and update CAD designs for mechanical components and systems (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2–4 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role.
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent) required.
Experience leading large scale projects is preferred.
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, engineering calculations, and production processes.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
