$80,000 – $95,000 based on experience
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and improve mechanical components, assemblies, and production equipment to meet performance, quality, and safety standards.
Create detailed drawings, specifications, and BOMs using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
Lead equipment installation, commissioning, and validation activities in partnership with maintenance and production teams.
Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve reliability.
Perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and DFM/DFA for manufacturability and cost efficiency.
Support NPI (new product introduction) by translating design requirements into production‑ready solutions.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proficiency with CAD software and PLM/ERP tools; strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack‑ups.
Experience with mechanical systems, pneumatics/hydraulics, materials, and failure analysis.
Knowledge of DFM/DFA principles and experience working with machining, fabrication, and assembly processes.
Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME) and safety regulations.
