Position Overview Bore Foreman – Telecom at LJA. You will lead field operations safely and efficiently while maintaining high‑quality standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, builds positive relationships with crew and leadership, and is technically competent, detail‑oriented, and committed to safety and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
Ensure safety measures are met and provide a safe work zone, including safety signage, cones and PPE.
Communicate scope of work and delegate the crew so that all work is completed safely and to customer standard.
Oversee crew to ensure assigned tasks are completed safely, on time and meet standards.
Provide training to crew when necessary to ensure tasks are performed safely and correctly.
Manage time for each job to meet daily production.
Communicate with Field Supervisor & Manager on any issues and when work is completed.
Take pictures of the job with the Company Cam app; tag pictures with the task ID number indicated on the Crew PO.
Check the quality of the work completed and ensure it meets customer standards.
Make sure pictures taken of final product show a completed quality pic for submission to customer.
Read and decipher prints to execute job scope accurately.
Locate neighboring facilities.
Be familiar with, but not limited to, telecommunications work.
Required Education / License / Certifications
Valid driver’s license.
High school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
At least 2 years of bore operating experience.
Ability to bore and place casing (steel and/or HDPE).
Must be able to bend, climb, and squat to perform job duties in the field.
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 80 pounds.
Must have sufficient hand and finger dexterity to safely operate tools and equipment.
Must be able to detect odors and fumes as necessary for safe work performance.
Must be able to walk, stand, and work outdoors for extended periods in various conditions.
Must have adequate hearing and vision to perform duties safely and effectively.
Must be 21 years or older.
Must be willing and able to travel for project sites and team coordination.
Ideally, You Should Also Have
Strong communication skills.
Ability to build strong relationships.
