About the Role We are looking for a Sales Agent to join our team in our Portsmouth, NH office and surrounding locations. This is not a remote position. Success in this role will require a strong local network and in‑person relationship building in the community.
Pay Details
Base salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
Potential total first‑year compensation: $55,000 - $75,000 (base, bonuses, uncapped commissions)
Top performers can earn over $100,000 in their first year
What You'll Do Build and leverage a strong local network and in‑person relationships in the community. Manage and grow your customer base across our range of Auto, Home, and Life products.
Qualifications
Previous employment in a sales role where you have successfully turned prospects into customers.
State insurance license – or willingness to earn one with training and support – in Property & Casualty, and Life.
Required Skills
Effective written and oral communication and presentation skills.
Well‑developed persuasion and negotiation skills.
Great interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build relationships with prospective and existing customers.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines.
Familiarity with finding, building and growing leads and customer base.
