What You’ll Do: Review and verify criminal, civil, and other public recordsas part of rental applicant background screenings Research and resolve missing or unclear case details usinginternal systems and public databases Apply client criteria to determine eligibilitywhile maintaining business and legislative compliance requirements Accurately document findings and respond to internalquestions regarding pending searches, results, or screeningguidelines
Who You Are: Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice,legal studies or related field; or an equivalent combination ofeducation and experience Prior experience in research, court records, investigations,or a related area involving criminal or civil court systems Strong attention to detail and high accuracy Basic understanding of legal or court terminology Good research and problem-solving skills Ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-drivenenvironment Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, includingOutlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional and clear communication skills Commitment to handling confidential informationappropriately
Ideal to Have: Knowledge of the criminal and civil court systems, criminalrecords, and landlord/tenant civil records
