Located in DeLand, Florida, we engineer and manufacture customized generator enclosures, fuel tanks, and trailers and provide a full suite of related products and services, including bi-fuel systems, Mitsubishi engines and parts, and more. We can also integrate and facilitate the testing of all customer-supplied and third-party equipment, enabling us to offer convenient turnkey solution options.

Coastline engineered products are installed in critical applications throughout the United States and internationally, serving government agencies, the military, police and fire departments, hospitals, assisted living facilities, schools, data centers, etc. Given the essential nature of our customers’ installations, we understand how important it is that valuable power system assets are safeguarded. Therefore, we ensure our products meet and exceed industry and code standards and are constructed to withstand even the harshest environmental conditions and stresses. Our state-certified, independent, lab-tested products are also continuously inspected to confirm that high-quality standards are consistently maintained in every product.

The company is experiencing unprecedented growth that will more than triple its size over a 3-year period. We are currently adding a brand-new state-of-the-art facility adjacent to the existing one, which will require new processes driven by collaboration between engineering and operations.

Salary $55,000-$65,000

Responsibilities

Produce drawings for customer review and approval

Perform and review complex engineering calculations

Prepare engineering design and production drawings

Author technical documents, engineering reports, specifications, and work instructions

Prepare calculations, bills of materials, and construction details

In‑process problem‑solving through the production process

Technical review of customer‑furnished equipment upon receipt

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD Mechanical, Autodesk Inventor, Microsoft Office, and other related software applications

Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to engineers, clients, internal production and support personnel

Ability to build and sustain effective relationships with internal and external industry professionals

Ability to work both independently and as a team member to solve problems and learn new technical skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced engineering atmosphere with a variety of assignments and competing demands

Ability to effectively use various types of measuring equipment

Ability to effectively collaborate with clients and coworkers

Knowledge of electrical systems is a plus

Knowledge of proper tolerancing, construction methods, and industrial engineering is a plus

Knowledge of Parametric Modeling is a plus

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is a plus

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Related Discipline

A combination of Experience/ Education will be considered
