Qualifications & Skills Restaurant experience desirable, but not required. Excellent communication skills. To be considered for this role, you should be available to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Summary of Position Server Assistant responsibilities include serving plates, glasses and silverware, refilling beverages and cleaning tables. If you enjoy a fast-paced way of working and are highly motivated this job will be right for you.
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare dining and patio areas before guests are seated, including cleaning designated areas daily.
Place tableware, candles and condiments on tables prior to opening.
Serve water and sometimes welcome snacks (i.e. chips and salsa).
Refill beverages and prebus tables throughout the shift.
Clean and reset tables after guests leave.
Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas.
Physical Demands
Lifting and carrying of items not to exceed 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a wet environment.
Extensive and prolonged walking, standing, bending, and reaching are required.
Grasping and fine manipulation using hands required.
Ability to work up to 8-10 hours per day.
Other Requirements
Must have a current food handler’s card, RBS card (if over 18 years of age).
California workplace harassment training, and/or any additional training required by law.
Are you available fully or partially on each Friday, Saturday and Sunday?
Compensation: $16.50 per hour
