Would you like to be part of a business helping hyper‑growth Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) innovate and exceed revenue goals? Do you have the business savvy skills necessary to motivate a cross‑functional team including sales, product and alliances to deliver business growth for AWS and our ISV partners?
AWS is seeking an experienced Sr. Account Manager for selling to Strategic ISVs and for expanding the business with our hottest ISV customers. The Sr. Account Manager will set a long‑term strategy and execute daily to grow customers, building and maintaining broad relationships, developing opportunities, and facilitating a large team of extended resources.
Role & Responsibilities
Team with all aspects of the customer’s organization, including C‑level executives, engineering, IT/operations, partner org, and sales.
Build relationships across an account using creative systems thinking, visioning, and execution via collaboration with an extended team to address all ISV customer needs.
Sell to the most strategic (C‑level) contacts within the account and implement a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.
Work collaboratively with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Partner, Support, Solution Architect) to support customer interests, while advocating for the customer in harmony with AWS business needs.
Drive new service adoption and new line‑of‑business development, and take dotted‑line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration.

Basic Qualifications
7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, selling to C‑level executives.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems.
Experience developing detailed go‑to‑market plans.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
