As a Customer Service Representative, you are a key member of the team and represent Glass Doctor on support calls. You are responsible for proactively handling service requests for home and business glass, working with the dispatcher to schedule on‑site appointments for estimates and providing over the phone quotes for auto glass replacement. In addition you will be emailing and calling back customers regarding estimates that have been previously provided on‑site but remain unsold.
This position is for you if you are self‑motivated, energetic, and results oriented with a high level of work intensity and a bias for action. You are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day‑to‑day basis.
Specific Responsibilities
Receive incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner
Quote and sell auto glass
Schedule Auto, Home and Business appointments for on‑site estimates and installations
Follow‑up with all incoming service requests utilizing our system
Complete work orders, return customer calls, and respond to customer complaints
Perform other duties as needed, which may include cross‑training in related positions
Job Requirements
Prior experience in the auto and/or flat glass industry is a plus
Computer literate, with working knowledge of word processing, business software, and spreadsheet applications
Proficiency to navigate tablet‑based technology
Sales skills
Good organizational and time‑management skills
Professional appearance and personality
