Assembly Technician

Responsibilities
Assemble precision assemblies using drills, reamers, countersinks, and spot face tools.
Install press fit and force fit bushings.
Assemble and install aircraft and spacecraft parts and equipment.
Perform bench top assemblies with or without the aid of jigs and fixtures.
Ensure quality and accuracy by trimming, shimming, and removing surface defects.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of assembly experience
Minimum 2 years of experience with sheet metal assemblies, drilling, countersinking, riveting, and fastener installation
Aircraft assembly experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints
Proficiency in using general metrology tools
Strong problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented
Experience with various types of aircraft fasteners (rivets, pull rivets, hi-loks, etc.)
Minimum 1 year of aircraft sealer experience
