Assembly Technician-Defense
As an Assembly Technician in the defense sector, you will play a critical role in the production of stealth aircraft, fighter jets, and military helicopters. This position requires expertise in sheet metal and composite assembly, ensuring each component meets precise standards. Responsibilities: Perform sheet metal and composite assembly for stealth aircraft, fighter jets, and military helicopters. Complete riveting, drilling, and countersinking to install components and fasteners for the fuselage. Seal aircraft structures and components. Self-inspect components and assemblies, including frames and skins, and perform rework when necessary. Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills: Proficiency in assembly, production, drilling, riveting, countersinking, sheet metal, and composite work. Experience in aircraft assembly and repair. Active Secret Clearance. Sealing and fuel cell experience. Sheet metal repair expertise. Additional Skills & Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in aircraft structures. Experience with sheet metal and composite drilling. Flexibility to work various shifts (primarily 1st or 2nd). Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including some weekends. Preferred: 4+ years of aircraft structures experience. Why Work Here?
