General Function / Summary

TransGlobal is seeking a Tax Advisor who combines tax knowledge with a strong sales and client‑focused approach. This role is responsible for understanding client tax needs, recommending appropriate services, and building long‑term relationships while driving sales of TransGlobal tax solutions. The ideal candidate is outgoing, detail‑oriented, and highly organized, with a background in tax, accounting, or payroll and a passion for customer service and business development. Major Duties And Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

Serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing expert tax guidance and personalized service recommendations. Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and trust. Conduct consultations with clients (virtual or in‑person) to assess their tax situations and offer tailored solutions. Educate clients on TransGlobal tax services, simplifying complex tax concepts for better understanding. Sales & Business Development

Actively promote TransGlobal tax services, including tax preparation, payroll tax compliance, tax planning, and advisory solutions. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling tax‑related products and services. Generate and qualify leads, following up with potential clients to convert inquiries into sales. Effectively communicate the value and benefits of TransGlobal tax solutions. Meet and exceed sales and client retention targets, contributing to the company’s overall growth. Tax Knowledge & Compliance Support

Utilize tax and accounting knowledge to provide general advisory support on tax‑related matters. Stay informed on current tax regulations, deductions, and compliance changes to guide clients effectively. Work with internal tax professionals to ensure clients receive the best possible solutions tailored to their needs. Client Support & Coordination

Assist clients in understanding tax compliance and deadlines, ensuring they remain compliant with tax laws. Coordinate with tax professionals to ensure smooth service delivery for tax return preparation, payroll tax filings, and other tax solutions. Troubleshoot basic tax service‑related issues and elevate complex matters to the appropriate team. Manage client records and maintain accurate documentation of interactions and transactions. Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with tax, accounting, and sales teams to align business strategies and enhance service offerings. Attend internal meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new tax services, sales techniques, and compliance updates. Prepare reports on client feedback, sales performance, and market trends to assist in company decision‑making. Perform other tasks as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals. Qualifications

Highly Preferred Qualifications

Over 2 years of working experience in a CPA firm (CPA license not required). At least 1 year of hands‑on experience preparing both company and individual tax returns. Prior experience in tax, accounting, or payroll‑related work (e.g., tax preparation, bookkeeping, or working in an accounting firm). Minimum Qualifications

At least 6 months of experience in payroll processing. At least 6 months of experience preparing both company and individual tax returns. Proven track record of handling 30+ individual tax returns and 10+ corporate tax returns annually. Technical Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with tax software, CRM tools, and financial systems. Strong knowledge of tax compliance, tax return preparation, and basic accounting principles. Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is a plus. Soft Skills

Strong sales acumen with the ability to identify client needs, propose solutions, and close sales. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain tax matters clearly and persuasively. Skilled in handling objections and negotiations while maintaining strong client relationships. Highly organized and detail‑oriented; able to manage multiple client accounts at once. Strong problem‑solving skills and quick thinking when addressing client concerns. Passionate about helping clients navigate tax services and achieve compliance. Proven ability to build trust and maintain long‑term professional relationships. Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred. Who We Are
