Position Overview As a Diesel Mechanic II, you will play an integral role in ensuring the safety of the children who rely on our yellow school buses.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
Complete work orders.
Assist with mobile emergency services.
Use diagnostic skills to troubleshoot and repair vehicle issues.
Eligibility & Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles.
Valid driver's license; willingness to obtain a CDL (training provided).
Mechanic's tool set.
Interest in growth, learning, and ASE testing.
Ability to work full-time, Monday‑Friday 9:00 am‑5:00 pm shift.
Benefits & Compensation
$30.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
ASE incentive of $0.40 /hour for each relevant ASE obtained (training materials and exams paid).
Hiring bonus: $2,500.

Safety & Drug Testing Mechanics and technicians are subject to DOT drug testing as a safety‑sensitive employee. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
