Scope of Role:
The Associate Account Manager, MRO Channel is responsible for driving growth and achieving business objectives in the catalog/MRO distribution channel for North America. This sales‑development role supports efforts to win at our key customers while engaging managers to better understand MRO channel management. Responsibilities include account planning, execution, and organizational and analytical judgments specific to the sale of IDEX Performance Pneumatics (IPP) brands.
Responsibilities
Meet and exceed Annual Operating Plan objectives within assigned accounts.
Develop and implement growth strategies to improve share with existing partners.
Support corporate strategy with strategic accounts by handling daily tasks and follow‑up actions.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with partners while maintaining IPP’s interests as a priority.
Outline targeted communication strategies to represent brand value propositions and capabilities.
Develop and execute best‑in‑class content plans for each partner’s website and e‑commerce platforms.
Provide accurate and timely forecast information to management on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Work cross‑functionally with the commercial organization to support growth initiatives.
Provide market and competitive intelligence to product management through customer interactions, prospecting, and industry trade‑show attendance.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Measures of Performance
Apply a prioritization mindset to all responsibilities.
Identify growth opportunities within the assigned channel and focus on expanding share.
Support new product launches and key initiatives as defined by the Product Manager.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
Minimum two (2) years of equivalent experience in distribution sales, inside sales, sales support, or account management.
Preferred experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and deliver sales results.
Strong leadership and manufacturing environment experience.
Project management experience.
Other Skills and Abilities
Strong prioritization and self‑motivation.
Ability to build relationships with current and new customers.
Advanced problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Team leadership and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability to fast‑paced work environments.
Expectations to sign an Employee Inventions and Proprietary Information agreement.
Travel Requirement:
Up to 20% overnight travel (US & Canada).
