About the Role We are partnering with a nationally recognized, highly prestigious law firm to recruit an experienced
Corporate Franchise Paralegal
for their Kansas City office. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a firm known for its excellence, client-focused approach, and commitment to professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and manage franchise disclosure documents (FDDs) and franchise agreements.
Assist attorneys with compliance matters related to federal and state franchise regulations.
Coordinate franchise registrations and renewals across multiple jurisdictions.
Maintain and update franchise-related databases and tracking systems.
Support corporate governance tasks, including entity formation and maintenance.
Conduct due diligence for franchise transactions and assist with closings.
Liaise with clients, regulators, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate filings.
Qualifications
Minimum
3+ years of experience
as a paralegal in corporate or franchise law.
Strong understanding of franchise regulatory compliance and disclosure requirements.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with legal research tools and document management systems.
Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification preferred.
Hybrid schedule : Enjoy flexibility with a mix of in-office collaboration and remote work.

Additional Information Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 184 hours a year, 13 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
