Lead Management & Client Contact
Chase, track, and convert new inbound leads
Make first contact with clients by phone, followed by text/email outreach
Educate clients on how to upload documents via SimpleNexus
Ensure documentation is complete for the pre-approval process
Schedule client “Discovery Meetings” with the Loan Officer (LO)
Loan File Preparation & Pre-Approvals
Assist with completing loan applications
Run DU/LP and complete LP checklists
Submit pre-approvals within 24 hours of receiving required documentation
Build loan scenarios and consult with underwriters/investors as needed
Research and stay current on investor guidelines and product updates
Client & Realtor Communication
Conduct weekly status calls with clients in pre-approval and actively house hunting
Partner agents (Realtors)
Update Realtors after every client interaction to build transparency and trust
Follow up persistently to schedule face-to-face (or video) meetings
Team Collaboration & Administrative Support
Participate in daily team huddles and weekly pipeline meetings
Assist LO with callbacks to prospects needing further consultation
Share updates and changes on client files with internal team members
Take initiative in improving systems and helping the team grow
Greet clients and ensure smooth handoffs throughout the loan process
Qualifications
Possess an understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/fixed, commercial loans, etc.
NMLS license or training is not required, but is desired
Computer proficiency required including MS Office; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred
Excellent customer service and communication skills and willing to go above and beyond for customers and team
Required
Minimum 5 years of mortgage experience (loan assistance, processing, underwriting, or originating)
Strong knowledge of DU/DO, LP, and major origination systems
Experience with major correspondent and wholesale lenders, their guidelines, and pricing engines
High proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and mortgage CRMs
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a lead & Pre-Approval pipeline effectively
Comfortable on the phone and proactive in outreach
Preferred
NMLS license or registration (preferred but not required)
Familiarity with SimpleNexus
Experience setting up or improving lead tracking and follow-up systems
Compensation $55,000 - $65,000 yearly
