Position: Direct Sales Regional Supervisor Mediacom Communications is a coast‑to‑coast provider of internet, television, home security, and voice services, operating in 22 states with a workforce of over 4,000 employees. The company’s mission is to bridge the digital divide by offering reliable and innovative services to both major cities and smaller regions.

Position Overview The Direct Sales Regional Supervisor is responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a local sales team of 4 to 6 direct sales representatives. The primary goal is to maximize customer growth within the assigned marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

Train, develop, and motivate a direct‑sales team to meet and exceed weekly sales goals.

Collaborate with local marketing and training staff to impart product knowledge and ensure timely installation of services.

Review and reconcile payroll commissions and time sheets.

Monitor budgets and reconcile monthly P/L reports.

Write and deliver mid‑year and annual performance reviews, coaching plans, and improvement plans.

Assist sales representatives in prospecting and closing new residential opportunities by accompanying them in the field.

Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity.

Create action plans and coach reps to meet requirements.

Develop programs to exceed sales goals.

Required Qualifications

College degree preferred in Sales/Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience.

2–4 years of relevant sales and marketing experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Knowledge of the telecommunications industry.

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, with limited overnight stays.

Flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends.

Salary Range US$40,000 – US$58,000 yearly, with compensation determined by experience, skills, education, and certifications.
