Responsibilities As an Independent Contractor (1099), you will perform automotive inspections on physical inventories, using proprietary software to complete reports. Your work includes identifying equipment, locating VIN/ serial numbers, documenting changes or damages, reconciling missing vehicles, and submitting reports within the required time frame.
Contracts start at $40 per assignment with potential for higher earnings based on availability and acceptance of contracts.
Travel requirements vary by location; contractors perform inspections on the road.
Use smartphones or tablets to capture data and complete reports in real time.
Qualifications Must have:
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Automotive experience as an inspector, adjuster, mechanic, or similar role.
Flexible schedule during business hours (Mon–Fri 7 am–7 pm).
Professional appearance, demeanor, and strong communication skills.
Preferred Experience
Auto body or collision experience.
Experience with field inspections or insurance adjuster work.

Location: On the road near your region.
Day range: Monday to Friday (8‑hour day shift).
Willingness to travel: 75% required.
