Job Description

Detailed review of Tax Returns and projections, including trusts, individuals, non-profits, investment partnerships and operating businesses

Prepare file memos supporting tax positions

Collaborating with internal teams on various strategies and liaising with outside providers

Providing leverage and support for Tax Director and Tax Managers

Drafting notice responses to Federal and State taxing authorities

Reviewing the performance of outside providers as part of the larger team, and being vocal on recommendations and escalations

Working on special projects as needed

Requirements / Qualifications

1+ years of Public Accounting Tax Experience

A high-level of organization and attention to detail

Proactive and can work independently while collaborating with a team

Forward-thinking mentality, open-minded, with an eye for efficiency

Multi-tasker mentality, with an emphasis on prioritization
